There are a few things to note when you are preparing this meal
If you want to know how to make porridge yam and have no problems during the process you will have to consider the next 3 points.
- It is best to use the freshest Palm Oil you can get because stale palm oil will ruin the taste of the Pottage.
- It is best to use as little seasoning as possible because the yam itself is sweet (thus, the excessive seasoning will overshadow the sweet taste of the pottage).
- Add a little more water if necessary but do not overdo it.
